Letter Machine Editions publishes only a few titles per year, and already
has a substantial backlog of forthcoming works; however, we offer
an open reading period during the month of April, 2010. We welcome full-length
submissions from both established and emerging authors. In order to offset
the cost of publishing high-quality, perfect bound titles, we’re requesting
a ten dollar reading fee per manuscript. Include a 6x9 SASE with $3 postage,
and we’ll send you any title from our back catalogue (simply write the name
of the title you’d like on the outside of the envelope). Send your manuscript,
a cover letter including biographical information, contact info, and email
address, along with a check for ten dollars (made out to: Letter Machine Editions)

Any electronic submissions or manuscripts received outside of the month of April
will be discarded. Simultaneous submissions are fine, but please let us know if
your manuscript is accepted elsewhere. We’ll post the results to our open reading
period here by December 2010.
